Scotland is the windiest country in Europe, and with a no-nuclear commitment, Scottish Ministers are firmly committed to developing a renewable energy policy that takes full advantage of this massive potential.

In the battle against climate change, Scotland now generates around 11% of its electricity from renewable sources, and the Scottish Government has set a target of 40% by 2020.

As part of this plan, Infinergy is looking at the Dorenell wind farm on the Glenfiddich Estate approximately 8 km south-west of Dufftown as a possible renewable energy site. Early May 2008 we submitted the Planning Application, along with an Environmental Statement, to the Scottish Government.
